Contemporary: Long-stemmed Roses or her favourite flowers.

Upgrade: One dozen Roses (or her favourite flowers) then send the flowers to her place of work on Valentine's Day. Custom (heart) shape bamboo plants. Then add a heart shaped balloons and candy. Have a custom made design for the flowers.
